This clip, taken in April 2011 shows the active erosion of a streambank along the East Kill in East Jewett.  This streambank contains clay, which can be observed as an increase to the turbidity of the water. The District plans to complete a stream restoration project along this reach in the summer of 2012 to adress stream instability issues, protect water quality, and improve habitat.
