Under the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation's Stormwater Permit, all construction site contractors and subcontractors must have at least one "trained individual" from their company on their construction sites on a daily basis that will be responsible for implementation of Erosion Controls and Stormwater Management. These individuals must have completed a 4-hour training class on the principles and practices of erosion and sediment control and stormwater management.
GCSWCD offers erosion and sediment control training in Cairo, NY. Our most recent training class was held on March 29, 2017.
