The Beauty of Survival: An Introduction to Reptiles and Amphibians
Saturday, August 29, 2020 (10:00am-11:30am)
Webinar hosted by Mountain Top Arboretum

This is an introduction to reptiles and amphibians, with an emphasis on the Catskill Mountains. Through photos and biofacts (skins, shells and skeletons), we will explore the natural history and some survival strategies of these incredible, but often misunderstood and feared animals. Our presenter is Russ Walker, retired teacher at the Houston ISD Outdoor Education Center. He has a BS in Biology and Environmental Science and is co-founder East Texas Herpetological Society with a lifelong interest and passion for all wildlife.

This is a Schoharie Watershed Weekend event in partnership with the Mountain Top Arboretum. The Schoharie Watershed Weekends are organized by the Schoharie Watershed Stream Management Program at the Greene County Soil & Water Conservation District.
